WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SUGARING?
The sugar paste is at body temperature and does not burn the skin... it only attaches to the hair and dead skin cells... it can be applied to the most sensitive skin leaving the skin smooth and exfoliated... The sugar paste is applied with the hands and removed in the direction of hair growth making the hair removal process less irritating than waxing and in return helps eliminate ingrown hairs. Long term use of Body Sugaring leads to a reduction in hair growth... The hair will grow back lighter, thinner & sparse... The lemon acts as a natural lightener assisting in lightening dark spots from shaving and ingrown hair scars..

"WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE IN THE DIFFERENT TANNING OPTIONS?"
(Basi/Standard) - Our basic/standard sunless tan has unique violet hue bronzers that give the appearance of natural, sun-kissed radiance. This blend of anti-orange bronzer pigments is designed to counter an unwanted orange undertone. We have options to choose from depending on the desired look the client wishes to achieve.
(Rapid/Express) - Our rapid/express sunless tan is great for clients who can’t wait the usual 12-24 hours before their post session rinse. This solution also have anti-orange bronzer pigments and is customizable based on the clients preference. Clients can rinse in (1) hour for a Light Bronze, (2) hours for a Medium Bronze and (3) or more hours for the Darkest Bronze.
(Clear) - Our clear sunless tan is your standard tan but with no bronzer. This will allow a non-transfer to clothes and/or bed sheets. This option is great for clients coming in on there lunch break, looking to be tan for an event right after and an amazing option for brides and breastfeeding moms.
PRE & POST BODY SUGARING SUGGESTIONS...
Exfoliate - 2-3 times a week using a soft bristle body brush, dry exfoliating gloves or cloth paired with or without your choice of natural body scrub
(DO NOT EXFOLIATE 48 HOURS BEFORE/AFTER SUGARING)
Deep Cleanse/Tone - Use an Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel after showering and before moisturizing
Moisturizer - Use daily to avoid dry skin using natural oils
ex. Aloe Vera, Vitamin E Oil, Light Lotions
(WAIT 24 HOURS AFTER SUGARING)
Soak & Detox - Recommended 2-3 times a week to soak in a Dead Sea Salt bathe only for those with problematic in-grown hairs... consult your with Sugarist!
(WAIT 48 HOURS BEFORE/AFTER SUGARING)

"WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT GETTING A SUNLESS TAN?"
Pre-Tan
Please make sure to shower, exfoliate thoroughly and take care of all other beauty services including manicure, pedicure, facials, massages and hair removal prior to appointment. Do not use products with salicylic acid or retinol at least (1) week prior to appointment.
Day of Appointment
Arrive without any product on your skin that could be a barrier to the spray (for example makeup, lotion, deodorant, perfume, sunscreen). Wear or bring a change of loose-fitting clothing and slip-on shoes. Please do not wear jeans, yoga pants, or tight sports bra to avoid the freshly sprayed tan to rub onto clothes.
During Appointment
You may wear swimwear, undergarments, or wear a complimentary disposable thong and/or bra provided in studio or chose to be fully nude to avoid tan lines.
Post Appointment
You may ONLY RINSE WITH WARM WATER 12-24 hours after appointment. Our express sunless tan allows you to RINSE OFF WITH WARM WATER 1-3 hours after your appointment. Your sunless tan will continue to develop 24 hours after your appointment. You may take a normal shower (use soap) and moisturize 24 hours after your appointment.
"WHAT DO I WEAR TO GET A SUNLESS TAN?"
You may wear swimwear, undergarments, or wear a complimentary disposable thong and/or bra provided in studio or chose to be fully nude to avoid tan lines.
"HOW LONG DOES MY HAIR HAVE TO BE TO GET SUGARED?"
Unlike waxing... Sugaring only requires the hair to be 1/8" (7-10 Days of Hair Growth) which allows the hair to be removed in the first stage of hair growth... at this stage the hair follicle wall is pulled out each time causing it to close..
"I started my period...Can I still get sugared.?.?"
Yes....Please note that the senses are heightened during and around your cycle, you would also have to wear a tampon during the service.
"WILL I BE ORANGE IF I GET A SUNLESS TAN?"
Our tanning solution has violet hues that will cancel out the unwanted orange effectleaving your skin with only a natural radiant glow.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET SUGARED?
Timing may vary depending on you hairs growth cycle, how long you have been sugaring & the area of the body. Generally Brazilian can be repeated every 2- 3 weeks!
"HOW LONG WILL MY TAN LAST?"
Your tan can last minimum one week depending on your lifestyle. Long showers/baths, swimming, hot tubs and/or chlorine will dry out your skin and shorten the length of your sunless tan. Use only a water base lotions to moisturizer.
